End of the BroadGNSS user workshops for the requirements validation

The BroadGNSS project has now finished its series of workshops to carry out a requirements validation to inform the definition of our common challenge, considering the opinion of public authorities across Europe.

59 public safety practitioners from 14 countries participated to this consultation.

The last event held on the 22nd of March 2021 was organised as a roundtable. It was the occasion to present the preliminary results focusing on operational needs and priorities, comparing the solutions currently available, gaps and future usages.

The innovative solutions to be procured shall focus on accurate location and time- synchronisation for mission-critical wireless broadband networks, IoT and drones in the domains of mobile applications, IoT.

The Group of Procurers will now analyse these results which will contribute to the drafting of the tender documents to be published during fall.
